Sky Experience Adventure
Crown Regency Hotel in Fuente Osmeña Avenue, Cebu City added a
unique feature to their hotel tower, The Sky Experience Adventure. Two of its
main attractions are the Edge Coaster, and the Skywalk Extreme, both are
Philippine firsts in its respective categories.
The Edge Coaster is a coaster that moves sideways and moves around the edge of the 38th floor. The coaster tilts the riders (two per coaster) once at the beginning of the ride. The ride will tilt down to 55 degrees, giving the riders a bird's eye view of the streets surrounding the building. After the automatic tilt, the riders have an option to manually tilt their coaster, and they could also choose how many degrees the coaster tilts.
The Sky Observatory and the Sky Bar are also located in the 38th floor. The Sky
Observatory runs coin-operated telescopes for Php10.00 each. The telescopes
give the guest a three-minute view of the city skyline. Sky Bar is a
non-alcoholic bar that gives the guest a place to chill out with his friends
while 130 meters above ground.
The Sky Walk Extreme allows guests to walk around a thin strip at the edge of
the 37th floor. To ensure safety, a harness will be strap around the walker's
body. Staff will also make the walkers wear orange and blue jumpsuits, socks
and white sneakers. The Sky Walk Extreme could accommodate up to 5 people per
session, a photographer and a guide will accompany them during their walk.
